I just received this board. It's larger than it looks. I was surprised at how wide it is. It's about 50% wider than "normal" boards. Almost like you're ironing on a table.It's super sturdy and the entire unit is made of heavy duty steel so the board is a bit heavy. It's built like a tank so I expect it to last a long time.
