This ironing board cover is smooth to iron on.No wrinkles in the cover means a smooth ironing process. I had a difficult time finding a large ironing board cover to replace my old one- and finally found this one. I really like how it snugly fits on the frame. Others claimed the pad is thin, which it is, but I placed it over my old pad (taking off the cover part) and it works fine.
