I had purchased an antique style wall phone for my kitchen, which had an extra long cord. The added cord extension was handy for those long reach moments while cooking and the phone rang, but was pretty much of a dangling jumble the rest of the time.So--I purchased the star hook to take up the slack. Now the phone cord is nice and neat and can streach the full length of the kitchen when necessary and loop on the hook when not needed.-- A snazzy addition to my phone.
