The Honey-Can-Do cover was a little hard to stretch over the ironing board, but once on, it's nice and smooth, yea, sturdy.I like the colors--no sickly pastels, and I like the first-rate quality.Good ironing board covers are hard to come by, and the sorry excuse I had for one fell off once too often.I have to confess I am someone who still irons.We don't like paper napkins, and use a lot of linen.Sometimes I even iron my husband's shirts, so a good iron and ironing board AND a quality cover for same are not taken for granted by this household.
