I bought this to replace a plastic holder that I've had for over 20 years that finally broke.I wanted to find something very similar, sturdy, and not too expensive.This seemed to fit the bill.My husband installed it for me, and it's very nice.It's larger than I expected, so it could hold any type of iron I'm sure.My older one wasn't nearly as nice.However, it is larger than I expected, and it's installed in my laundry room on a wall behind the door, and it sticks out about 10 inches from the wall.Keep that in mind when installing it.
